Hy Martin and Gijsbert Nollen Present at International Forestry Conference

Hy Martin, Consultant, and Gijsbert Nollen, Managing Director, presented at FORTROP II, an international tropical forestry conference. The ICE BV team delivered a presentation entitled, Can Carbon Trading Save Our Asian Forests? The presentation explained the financial and technical difficulties faced by forestry projecr developers in Southeast Asia giving our work in Southwestern Cambodia as a case study. In addition, the talk addressed the role that environmental services, specifically carbon trading, can play in alleviation of poverty in developing countries.

FORTROP II is the world's foremost tropical forestry conference convened once every five years to allow the forestry community to exchange ideas about the state of the industry.
