ICE BV in China:

The ICE BV team is currently working on a biodiversity conservation project in Southern China. The Company is partnering with the South China Tiger Advisory Office and the State Forest Administration on a project to rehabilitate and conserve the habitat of the South China Tiger. A powerful icon of the Chinese wilderness, the South China Tiger is one of the world's most imperiled large carnivores, with no tigers remaining out of captivity. The project's objectives are to rehabilitate two project areas in South Central China to restore prey levels for reintroduction of the South China Tiger into nature, to sequestor carbon by reforesting degraded areas and protecting existing forests, to alleviate poverty by strengthing community participation and to enhance institutional capacity.
